We were happy with the entire process of calling to set up a time to get an estimate to the return visit to check the air conditioner when the temperature was warm enough. They are very considerate during installation and happy to answer any questions we had. It's not fun having to buy a new air conditioner for the house but Metro Heating & Cooling made the process easy!
John the tech came out to diagnose why our A/C unit was not running. He got it up and going in 10 minutes. He advised us on how coolants are changing and what it means. Thanks Metro
My central air unit is older and wasnt turning on every time it should. Metro got me in asap when others had at least a 5 day wait. Paul looked it over and diagnosed the problem and fixed it all in the same visit! He was professional and knowledgeable...it was an odd problem. I am very pleased with Metro...and enjoying my cool, comfy home.
I called for service at 1:00, our air conditioner stoppedworking. John was here, fixed the problem and gone by 3:00. This wasn't even an emergency call. We were charged a regular service rate at a reasonable price. He made sure it was cooling well before leaving, checked temps on the furnace, answered my questions, was kind, and very professional. I willl call Metro again.
We used a groupon to get a check up on the furnace, they were very professional and nice.

After much thought we had Metro put in a air conditioning and furnace into our home. They were very professional on bid and even better at time of installation. Wow, from the moment my husband called about getting a new water heater, until the the total installation was completed, it was the quickest turn around time imaginable! Wonderful customer service. Got a great deal on a new AC unit. They came out and installed itin one day. Very professional. Then a week later my hot waterheater went out and i got a wonderful deal $ 1080 i wouldrecommend Metro Heating & Cooling to everyone.
The old repair person came and did a tune uo on the air conditioning unit and said it was leaking reon in the furnace and we would have to look into geting and new air conditioing unit and furnace.so I called your company and Eric came out and looked at the problem and said all you need is anew coil and that would fix the problem, so it was less than half the cost aand it was done. We had Barak out and he was the pros pro and did a great job. I will be recomending your company to many of our friends. Thanks for being honest and having great people working for your company. John did an outstanding job servicing our AC unit. We have had historic issues with our new AC unit put in ours house in 2008 and he was able to isolate the issue. This was under our xcel energy plan which we have not heard boo from xcel.john was Curtis and friendly and was very informative.
We had your company come out and repair our water heater.Your man Dave Johnson was professional and efficient, a very personable individual.I am a general contractor my self and was very impressed with how he shows your company.
We had a 35 year old Rheem water heater that was working well but I figured it was time to replace it. I called Metro Heating and Cooling and they gave me a fair price quote over the phone. We set up a date and time to do the replacement. The person who came out did a great job of pulling the old heater out and installing the new one. He cleaned up well after the installation. He answered all my questions and presented me with an invoice for the exact amount we had agreed on.I couldn't be happier with the entire purchase and installation.I would recommend Metro Heating and Cooling to anyone I know.
I had a new high efficiency furnace installed this winter. Eric who gave me the estimate did more than just help me decide which furnace I needed. He measured the outside of my house and looked at the direction my windows faced, etc., to determine what size furnace I needed. He answered many of my questions as well. The installers did a great job and I can tell a huge difference already. The heat seems to be distributed much more evenly now. There was a slight problem with the unit right out of the box, which was out of their control, but they were able replace the bad part the next morning and get it working properly. A few months later they came out to inspect my central air unit at no cost and also upgraded my thermostat (again). I'd recommend them to anyone. They were all professional, friendly, and efficient. A well-run business.
I took advantage of a sale for a new 40 gal water heater @ $1080 - a far better price than I was able to find elsewhere. Technicians were right on time as well as polite and helpful. Took away old heater. Everything went very well. I will call again.
Between Eric and the installation team, every part of our experience with Metro has been on par. Excellent service and a good price for a new furnace and a/c.

We woke up on Friday morning, temperature of 8 degrees, and the sensor on our furnace malfunctioned. Metro Heating and Cooling was in our home before noon. Tim came, cleaned the sensor, charged us a very reasonable affordable amount, cleaned the sensor and promised to order a new one and be back to install it within one week. We had heat! Tim was courteous, knowledgeable and kind in his dealings with us. The next Friday, John showed up with a new sensor and also installed a new thermostat for us. We had a great conversation and amazing service from John! I highly recommend Metro Heating and Cooling - and personally, I think Tim and John do their job incredibly well and also recommend them! Thank you!
We were very pleased that Eric took the time to listen and find out how we run the different zones in our house and not just sell us the latest and greatest - since we have multiple heat sources, we do not run our fan all the time and try to balance the temp between levels of the house. The installation team did a great job as well - the furnace is working great, will have to wait for spring to test out the AC.
This morning their tech, John, came out to install a new thermostat. He called to let me know exactly when he would be here, was on time, and took the time to help me register it and show me how to use it. Shortly after he left Eric came, on time, to give me prices for replacing the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater. He listened to my concerns and made recommendations for what would be best for us. No hard selling, just honest answers.
We have a forced-air furnace from the dawn of time in our home (Lennox G8, circa 1968). An engineer from Metro Heating & Cooling took a picture because he did not believe it (!), and then did an inspection and tuneup for us that was outstanding. He answered every question we had about that furnace, and, more importantly, answered questions about health and safety issues. He also supplied advice about new furnaces without a heavy-handed sales pitch. We were very happy with the service and will definitely use the company again.

The young man who was scheduled arrived and finished the job within the scheduled window. I asked questions and he pointed out things along the way. When he finished, he looked about to make sure sure things were left as he found them. I appreciated that care. Paperwork to do when done, and I was encouraged to ask any other questions, also appreciated. I will see Metro again next fall....
Honest, Sincere,Personable service. The Service Tech, "John", was out for our winter inspection of our furnace. He exceeded my expectations by a long shot! He answered every question and gave me a lot of excellent informational tips on caring for the furnace too. John is an outstanding representative of what service really means. Something that one hardly finds anymore. With techs like John, I will always call Metro!

I needed a new hot water heater. I saw an ad for Metro and called on Friday 10/29/16 to get an estimate. I talked with Micah Vail and he emailed me a quote for a new hot water heater installed and the old water heater hauled away. I set the appointment for the following Wednesday morning. I was told that the technician would arrive by 9:00 AM. About 8:45 AM I received a call from TJ and he told me he would be there in about 10 minutes. He arrived on time and was very friendly and well organized. He covered the flooring in the entryway and down the stares to were the water heater was located. The quality of the installation was excellent. He installed the new water heater and removed the old one and had it hauled away. He cleaned up when he was done and it looked like no one had been there doing work. I was totally satisfied with the work. About a week later I received the energy rebate filled out to be mailed to Xcel for my $40.00 energy rebate. Great customer service.
Josh and Brock did a fast and professional boiler install for the best price and friendly service, Metro is a well oiled team!
Replaced my old 33+years old A.C. unit. The price was great and the service was fast, friendly and impressive. The services guys explained everything about the new unit and were very good at their job. I would highly recommend.
I called for an estimate last week and my new furnace is already installed and working. From the first contact to the installation this company was the best-thorough, honest, professional and fair. It doesn't matter who you are working with-sales,install or the office - they support each other and just want to please the customer. BEST PRICE also. Al and Josh were great and their work and thoroughness and sincerity in making sure I understood everything were superb! I would encourage everyone to give them a call!

This is the type of service I appreciate. We called on 2/6 and had a tech (Brian) on 2/7 show up well within the time frame quoted. He completed job of installing new gas control valve on my hot water heater in a quick and timely manner. I was quoted a price that I believe was very fair for the job. Metro Heating and Cooling provided an estimate on a chimney liner was lower than any other that I received for the same work. In fact they made an improvement in my duct work (for the same price) that they thought was an unfortunate oversight from a previous repair made by another repair service. The repair crew showed up on time, was very polite, and finished the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up everything as if they had never been there, and upon leaving expressed a sincere gratitude for the opportunity to do the work. Both men took pride in their work, and I’m very grateful for their effort. I would hire again.

I just had a new air conditioner unit installed with Metro. Can't say enough good things about the installers and John and Mike who proceeded them. Previous furnace work has also been done timely and efficiently. Very much a service attitude.

Off the bat, John was friendly, kind and honest about the problem and the service he provided. He was so helpful in explaining how to properly maintain my cooling system. Last week my air conditioner went out, I called that morning and a tech came out that afternoon and fixed it with in 30 minutes his name was Mike did an awesome job. Just want to say thank you and would absolutely call metro heating and cooling for future service.

John did our annual checkup of both furnace and air conditioner with expertise and efficiency. He called ahead to alert us of his coming, informed us of the condition of our units in language we could understand, and worked in both a professional and a personal manner. We hope we will get him again next year.
Long story short, I "vapor locked" my new water heater yesterday while using some oil based paint in my basement. I called and spoke to Paul, who tried to help me reset the unit over the phone. After a couple of tries, we arranged a service call. Your technician Jason(?) was here within an hour and was able to replace the sensor and had the unit up and running. Both Paul and Jason were great to deal with, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated their help.
I have been using Metro Heating for 5 years and will continue to use them. I appreciate a company that maintains the kind of honesty and integrity I receive. My water heater went out on Sunday, Tim was at my house first thing Monday to confirm the situation and Eric was by on Tuesday to discuss my options and provide me with a couple of bids. Instillation went on without a hitch, area was cleaned up and old debris hauled away, you wouldn't have known they had been here. I couldn't be been happier and highly recommend Metro Heating to take care of your heating and cooling needs.
