Metro Heating and Cooling has grown from four friends in a Maplewood garage to a team of more than fifty people, and the hiring standard has not moved: we look for technicians we would be comfortable sending to our own parents' houses. Paul joined Metro Heating & Cooling in 2011 and has played an integral role in growing the company into what it is today. After initially focusing on marketing and building Metro’s service department, Paul took over leadership of the company following the sudden passing of his father and Metro’s founder, Dave Reiland. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his two-year-old son, being on the lake with friends and family, working on projects around the house, and anything involving cars.
Nick has been part of Metro Heating & Cooling since its earliest days, first helping his dad with invoicing and projects around the office while he was still in middle school. He later spent several years working in the field through high school and college before moving into the office full-time in 2019. Today, Nick oversees Metro’s plumbing operations, marketing, and many of the day-to-day aspects of running and growing the company. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, cars and car shows, and checking out new restaurants and places around town.
Eric has been with Metro Heating & Cooling since day one and has been an integral part of the company’s growth and success. As Sales Manager, he leads our sales team and has helped thousands of homeowners find the right heating and cooling solutions for their homes. Eric was also a close friend of Metro’s founder, Dave Reiland, and the two spent years working together, usually with plenty of joking and laughter mixed in. Their friendship and personalities helped shape the fun, family-oriented culture that remains an important part of Metro today. Outside of work, Eric enjoys traveling, spending time at his home in Florida, and checking out new breweries.
Erica serves as Metro’s Office Manager and Install Coordinator. She keeps both our installation department and office running smoothly. She schedules HVAC installs, orders equipment, and manages our office team to make sure customers and technicians have what they need from start to finish. Outside of work, Erica loves to stay busy finding fun new events and things to do. She also enjoys staying active, spending time up north, getting together with friends, and spending time with her fiancé and their cats. Her energetic, always on-the-go personality carries over into her work, where she’s always willing to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.
Licensed heating, cooling and plumbing technicians covering St. Paul, Minneapolis and the surrounding metro, seven days a week.
Josh manages Metro’s HVAC installation department, helping coordinate our installation crews and making sure each project runs smoothly from start to finish. He brings an upbeat, easygoing energy to the team and enjoys working alongside our crews to keep things moving every day. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved with his kids and their sports.
Andrew leads Metro’s hydronics department, overseeing our boiler and hydronic heating projects and supporting our technicians in the field. His experience helps ensure our customers receive knowledgeable, dependable service for their home’s heating systems. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his kids and being outdoors whenever he gets the chance.
Mitch leads Metro’s plumbing department and oversees its day-to-day operations, from supporting technicians in the field to training and developing new members of the team. His experience and hands-on approach help ensure our plumbers have the knowledge and support they need to take great care of our customers. Outside of work, Mitch enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and escaping to his property up north whenever he gets the chance.
